His tweet simply said, “Polygon Pictures participated in this work. At a Brainerd High School board meeting on September 9, science teacher Craig Rezac presented his syllabus for the upcoming year’s biology curriculum. Julie Cannizzo, the assistant superintendent for academic affairs for Goddard Public Schools, sent an email to principals and librarians with the list of 29 books last week, KMUW reported. The find has been described as “exceptional” by the team who discovered it, a group from the Bavarian State Collection of Zoology (BSCZ) in Munich, Germany, Deutsche Welle reported. The 0.2-inch-long specimen was identified in amber from the Baltic Sea region in northern Europe. It is the larva of a large butterfly species that has been dubbed Eogeometer vadens. Axel Hausmann, lead author of a Scientific Reports study describing the new species, said this was the first caterpillar from a large butterfly species to be found preserved in an ancient block of amber from the Baltic....
According to a study published in the journal PLOS ONE, people who avoid clichés and overused tropes in the text of their profiles are more likely to get matches, with people perceiving them as more attractive as a result. The researchers asked 1,234 dating site users to rate both the attractiveness of the user, and separately, the originality of their profile. The results showed that people with profiles considered to be more original tended to also score significantly higher on perceived intelligence, sense of humor, and attractiveness....
