In the Rogue’s Legacy, poor Tasha the Tavernkeeper and Captain Briggsy super-fan is cursed with the desirable skeleton curse and needs the player’s treasure-hunting assistance. The Adventure has some tricky puzzles and Dark Brethren journals to locate, so players need to have their wits about them if they are to tick off all deeds and mark Adventure 10 complete.

How Long Does The Rogue’s Legacy Take?

The Rogue’s Legacy takes around 2-4 hours to complete, depending upon how quickly players solve the head-scratching puzzles and find all Dark Brethren journals. After completing the Adventure, players looking to make extra money may also want to cash in all Humble or Generous Gifts dug up during the Adventure at the Reaper’s Hideout, but this is optional.

How To Start The Rogue’s Legacy

Players can begin The Rogue’s Legacy by speaking with Larinna outside the Tavern on any Outpost. Larinna tells players to sail to Plunder Outpost and speak with Madame Olivia, stood inside the Order of Souls tent next to a frightened Tasha. Speak with Madame Olivia to continue the Adventure, who gives players Captain Briggsy’s book called Lessons On Becoming An Adventurer, Tasha’s Enchanted Compass, and a checklist that displays the correct order to complete the various treasure-hunting tasks, starting with collecting Briggy’s Keys.

How To Get Briggsy’s Keys

Players must first use Tasha’s Compass to find 3 islands in The Wilds to defeat 3 skeletons who drop Briggsy’s keys. Players need all 3 keys to open Briggsy’s 3 treasure chests that each contain an artifact and other goodies:

Briggsy’s Key of Location at Shipwreck Bay at point M10 on the map table - opens Briggsy’s Chest of Location found at Kraken’s Fall (map point R12). Briggsy’s Key of Inspiration at an unnamed island at map point K9 - opens Briggsy’s Chest of Inspiration located at Tri-Rock Isle (map point R10). Briggsy’s Key of History at The Sunken Grove at point P7 - opens Briggsy’s Chest of History found at The Crooked Masts (point O11).

It’s best to locate all 3 keys first and then get all the chests. Firstly, head to the southwest beach near the broken ship on Shipwreck Bay where Briggsy’s Location Lesson-Teacher appears. It’s a skeleton that’s about as tough as a typical PVE skeleton captain but who’s wearing Briggsy’s hat and is accompanied by a couple of skeleton buddies. When defeated, it drops Briggsy’s Location Key and Briggsy’s Clue Page. Collect them and head back to the ship to sail to the next destination.

Use the compass to sail to the unnamed island at point k9 and head to the west side of the island to defeat Briggsy’s Inspiration Lesson-Teacher, who drops Briggsy’s Key of Inspiration and another Clue Page.

Lastly, sail to the Sunken Grove to defeat Briggsy’s History Lesson-Teacher, collecting Briggsy’s Key History and the History Lesson Missing Page.

Where To Find Briggsy’s Treasure Chests

Now players have all 3 keys, they can use the clues in the book to locate, dig up, and open Briggsy’s treasure chests to get 3 artifacts in total: the Ancient Tablet, the Evil Eye, and Briggsy’s Dice.

Ancient Tablet Artifact Location

Follow the order of the book and sail to The Crooked Masts and dig in front of the cloud painting symbols on the rock face to the northern side of the island to locate Briggsy’s Chest of History. The chest contains a mermaid gem, Humble Gift, and the Ancient Tablet artifact.

Before returning the chest to the ship, players can optionally use pages 5-6 of the journal to find more Humble Gifts buried around the center and top of the island, but this isn’t necessary to complete the Adventure.

Briggsy’s Dice Artifact Location

To get Chest of Inspiration, sail to Tri-Rock Island to find the chest buried by a tree depicted on page 11 of the book on the northern side of the island. The chest contains Humble Gifts and the 2nd artifact, Briggsy’s Dice.

Evil Eye Artifact Location

To get the final chest, the Chest of Location, head to Kraken’s Fall and locate the Kraken skull speared with a ship on the northwest beach, which looks like a quirky, makeshift ship figurehead. Walk in a southerly direction towards the trees to the right of the skull and dig to the right of the tree to find the chest that contains a mermaid gem, Humble Gift, and the Evil Eye.

How To Complete Adventure 10 And Rogue’s Legacy Rewards

To complete The Rogue’s Legacy, return and hand in all 3 artifacts to Madame Olivia in the Order of Souls tent at Plunder Outpost by selling them to her. After a cut scene, this completes the Adventure, and players are rewarded with Tasha’s Enchanted Compass as a Memento. Players who complete all Deeds in the Adventure also receive The Rogue’s Apprentice Title.

Dark Brethren Journal Locations

Players can optionally search the Wilds to locate and read 8 Dark Brethren Journals in total, written by Duke, Warsmith, and Amaranta. This is only necessary for players who want to get The Rogue’s Apprentice Title and some additional insights connected to the story. Players can find the journals as follows:

The Crooked Masts (map point O11) - Warsmith’s Secret Journal is opposite the clouds painting in the middle of 3 rocks. The 2nd Warsmith Journal is found to the right of the tentacle painting towards the top of the island, where players read a clue inside about heading to Old Faithful Isle. Kraken’s Fall (map point R12) - Duke’s Secret Journal is next to rocks behind a tree opposite the beached skull on the southwest beach and Duke’s 2nd Journal is propped up against a rock beside 2 palm trees near the top of the island, opposite the tree with many green lights and a skull head on it. Old Faithful Isle (map point M4) - Amaranta’s Secret Journal is by a tree to the right of the shark painting near the top of the island and the 2nd Amaranta Journal is on a rock close to the tallest watchtower near the middle of the island. Marauder’s Arch (map point Q3) - Warsmith’s Secret Journal is located between some rocks in the green patch of grass opposite the beached skull on the northwest beach and the 2nd Warsmith Journal on a rock past the arch at the top of the island.

The Rogue’s Legacy Adventure is available to play until 10 am UTC on December 22nd.
