The Cowboys linebacker, after making a tackle on the first play of the second half, was down on the field a few moments before jogging to the locker room with a bloody mouth. He missed just two series before returning, but the Cowboys defense gave up a touchdown while he was out.

Dallas was leading Atlanta 28-17 at the time of Lee’s injury.
Lee, a potential Pro Bowler, had recorded five tackles, a sack and two QB hits against the Falcons. He’s back this season as the Cowboys’ best defender following a year lost to a torn ACL.
Lee was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week after recording 14 tackles in the Cowboys’ 20-10 Week 2 win over the Eagles.
